This construction results in a smooth running rope and ensures fewer snags and minimal abrasion. Steam setting helps to eliminate cover over core slippage.

PELICAN’s 24-Strand Climbing Rope features a double-ply braided Polyester cover over a strong dynamic Nylon core. Our 24-Strand braided cover provides a smoother hand than other climbing ropes.
