Constructed of 16-strand braided composite Polyester over Nylon parallel core. The kernmantle construction of this tough cord offers outstanding abrasion resistance, yet soft enough for excellent holding power when tying Prusik knots.

Pelican Rope Works has designed a heat and abrasion resistant Prusik line, assuring greater longevity and added safety factor. This rope is virtually fireproof. Picture shown: Technora aramid fiber with nylon core. Does not melt, decomposition @500 Centigrade.
