| The Power of Aramid
With a tensile strength of 28grams/denier, this high performance rope is eight times stronger than steel and three times stronger than fiberglass, polyester or nylon ropes of the same weight and has a thermal decomposition threshold of 500ºC.
Technora® shows little loss of strength during repeated abrasion, flexing and stretching which makes this rope the perfect choice for pulling, winch, sheave and turning block applications. Exceptional molecular stability ensures a high modulus of elasticity, low creep and stress relaxation, as well as low thermal shrinkage. Highly resistant to heat, acids, alkalis and organic solvents and is not vulnerable to damage caused by steam or sea water. Additional protection is provided by our urethane coating. |
